At Ninja Camper Vans, Basic Insurance is included in all rentals.
In addition, we offer optional ANSHIN Insurance for extra protection.
You can change your plan on the rental day.

Non-Operation Charge (NOC)
If the vehicle cannot be used for business due to an accident, damage, or other trouble during the rental period,
a Non-Operation Charge (NOC) will be charged as compensation for business loss.
NOC is NOT waived under any plan.
When the vehicle is returned to the designated location
NOC is NOT charged per day.
It is a fixed amount based on the repair period category.

Important Recommendation
– Travel Insurance –
Even with our insurance options, not all situations are covered.
We strongly recommend that all customers purchase travel insurance that includes rental car coverage,
so you are protected against medical expenses, personal injury, trip interruption,
and situations not covered by our insurance or protection plans.
Very Important
Cases NOT Covered by Insurance or Protection
In the following cases, neither Basic Insurance nor ANSHIN Insurance applies.
All costs and damages must be paid by the customer.
Accident Reporting & Procedures
- Failure to report an accident to the police
- Failure to notify Ninja Camper Vans
- When the accident or damage details cannot be verified
Driver & Usage Conditions
- Driving by anyone not registered as an authorized driver
- Driving without a valid license
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Unauthorized extension of the rental period
Prohibited Use & Actions
- Racing, speed contests, or reckless driving
- Use for illegal purposes
- Exceeding passenger or load limits
- Towing or pushing another vehicle without permission
- Transporting flammable or hazardous materials
- Smoking inside the vehicle
- Carrying pets or animals (except certified assistance dogs)
- Use of candles, mosquito coils, or open flames inside the vehicle
- Subleasing or lending the vehicle or equipment to others
Restricted Roads & Driving Conditions
- Driving on unsealed roads, off-road areas, beaches, riverbeds, or construction sites
- Driving beyond the vehicle’s intended performance or specifications
- Damage caused by poor judgment or unsafe driving
Snow, Stuck, and Natural Condition Related Issues
- Driving on snow, deep snow, compacted snow, or icy roads
- Getting stuck in snow, mud, sand, or similar conditions
- Towing, recovery, or rescue costs due to being stuck
- Driving on snowy roads without proper judgment or equipment
- Inability to drive due to severe weather (heavy snow, freezing, blizzards)
- Water damage or submersion caused by floods, rivers, or seawater
Vehicle Parts, Consumables & Accessories
- Tire punctures, damage, or wear
- Loss or damage of wheel caps only
- Tire repair or replacement costs, labor fees, and new tire costs
- Costs related to using the onboard puncture repair kit
- Loss or damage of accessories or equipment
※ Damage to wheels themselves is subject to NOC.
Other Exclusions
- Misfueling or use of contaminated fuel
- Loss, damage, or lock-in of vehicle keys
- Damage to roof, underbody, awning, or overhead areas
- Theft or damage caused by poor vehicle management
